The strategy consultation is where we get specific.

Rather than giving you generic information about how the process works, we'll look at your circumstances and talk through your likely timeline, expected costs and payment stages, travel to Colombia, medical considerations and the major steps you would need to take.

The consultation is US$200. If you're ready to proceed with CunaDream, we can also discuss formalizing our work together at that point.

Because there is a difference between getting to know one another and developing a plan for your particular circumstances.

We've deliberately kept the initial conversation complimentary so that neither side has to make a commitment before meeting. Detailed planning, cost analysis and individualized guidance require more work and are covered in the strategy consultation.

We help you build a trusted team of medical, legal and local professionals in Colombia and then remain involved to keep the different parts of the process connected. That can mean keeping track of timelines and payments, following up with professionals, translating/interpreting when needed, preparing you for what comes next and helping solve the practical issues that inevitably arise along the way.

You still have specialists responsible for their own areas of expertise. Our job is to help make sure you're not left trying to connect all those pieces yourself.

The clinic focuses on medical care. Your attorney handles legal matters. Other local professionals have their own responsibilities. There are also payments, appointments, travel, documents, insurance arrangements, communication and dozens of smaller decisions that cross those boundaries.

Yes. This is an important part of what you're paying CunaDream for.

Our recommendations are based on firsthand experience with Bogotá's medical and professional landscape. We work with professionals we know and trust rather than simply handing clients a directory of providers.

We don't publish our provider network online. The appropriate professionals are introduced as part of working with CunaDream.

This is one of the situations where having someone coordinating the bigger picture becomes useful.

Sometimes an answer simply needs chasing. Sometimes plans change at short notice. Sometimes a question actually belongs with a different professional. We help work out what needs to happen, follow up with the appropriate person and keep you informed rather than leaving you to navigate it alone from another country.

You'll have ongoing access to us for questions and coordination during the process. Routine communication is handled during normal working hours, while we remain reachable for genuinely urgent situations outside those hours when necessary.

We don't describe this as a 24-hour concierge service. The goal is to be available when our involvement actually matters.

English, Spanish, Portuguese communication can be supported directly, including interpretation during conversations when needed. German to a lesser extent.

Most intended parents should plan for an overall budget in the region of US$50,000–70,000, although individual circumstances can change this considerably.

Medical treatment, legal work, travel, documentation and other variables all affect the final amount. During your strategy consultation, we'll help you understand what a realistic budget looks like for your situation rather than relying on a single headline number.

A reasonable expectation for the overall journey is approximately 12–18 months, but there is no guaranteed timeline.

Creating embryos, finding the right match, medical treatment, pregnancy and post-birth documentation all introduce variables. Some people move quickly through the process, while others need considerably longer.

CunaDream's coordination fee is paid in stages rather than all at once. Your payment schedule will be set out clearly in your agreement before we begin working together, so you'll know what is due and when.

Payments to medical, legal and other professionals are separate and follow their own schedules. We'll help you keep track of those payments throughout the process.

No. In fact, contacting us earlier can be useful because clinic selection and planning your first trip to Colombia can be coordinated with the other early stages of the process.

If you already have embryos, that's fine too. We'll look at where they are stored and what needs to happen next.

Yes. We expect intended parents to travel to Colombia during the process, not simply for the birth.

We believe that building a relationship with your gestational carrier is an important part of approaching this process responsibly. Regular video calls can help that relationship develop, particularly in the early stages, but they aren't a substitute for meeting in person.

Treatment and pregnancy don't always follow a predictable timeline, so we don't require that first visit at one particular stage. We do, however, expect every intended parent we work with to make the effort to spend time in Colombia and meet their gestational carrier well before the birth.

Depending on your circumstances, an earlier trip may also make practical sense for providing genetic material directly at the clinic rather than arranging international transport.

In some circumstances, yes. International transport involves medical, logistical and regulatory considerations, so this needs to be assessed individually.

CunaDream works alongside an experienced local coordinator who is responsible for this part of the process.

The local coordinator handles recruitment, introductions and ongoing practical support. Medical and psychological screening is carried out through the appropriate medical professionals. CunaDream remains connected so this part of the journey is coordinated with your medical, legal and practical planning.

Potential matches are introduced individually so that you have an opportunity to get to know one another rather than simply being assigned someone.

There is no reason to rush an important decision. If a particular introduction doesn't feel right, the process can continue until an appropriate match is found.

We strongly encourage it.

This is an extraordinary commitment for another person to make on your behalf. Whenever practical, we believe meeting face to face before moving forward helps establish the kind of open and respectful relationship that should continue throughout the pregnancy.

It's one of the reasons we encourage an early trip to Colombia rather than viewing Colombia simply as somewhere you arrive for the birth.

There isn't one relationship that works for every family, but we encourage regular, genuine contact.

Even a short video conversation every week or two can make a significant difference. You're sharing an important experience over many months; it shouldn't have to feel like a transaction conducted through intermediaries.

If language is a barrier, CunaDream can join regular calls and interpret back and forth.

Day-to-day support is coordinated locally. This includes assistance around medical appointments and ensuring that she isn't left navigating appointments or practical issues alone.

Medical care, screening and pregnancy-related guidance remain the responsibility of the appropriate healthcare professionals.

The local coordinator remains responsible for day-to-day gestational-carrier support, while medical matters belong with the medical team and legal questions with the attorney. We encourage clients to visit when possible rather than treating the entire process as something that happens remotely. You'll also need to plan for a longer stay around the birth while post-birth documentation is completed.

There are legal, civil-registration, consular and travel steps to complete before you can go home. The exact process depends heavily on your nationality and family circumstances.

CunaDream helps you understand the sequence, keeps the relevant professionals connected and can recommend appropriate assistance for the steps that require specialist legal or administrative expertise.

A typical stay may be approximately 3–8 weeks, but this varies according to nationality and the documentation that is required.

We recommend planning conservatively rather than booking your return around the fastest possible scenario.

Government authorities, consulates, document processing and circumstances surrounding an individual birth can all affect timing. We can help you prepare properly, keep track of what needs to happen and avoid preventable delays, but we cannot control government processing times.
